12/2/08 Staff Meeting

Happy Holidays to everyone. This will be my last Staff Meeting this year. We need to pick a time for next semester.........

• TIG call for proposals is out.?.?.?
  
• Add Deana Molinari meeting discussion to Wednesday ITRC meeting.
• Who will be in the NWMet Eluminate meeting to discuss future conferences?
• Question about web time entry or time approval? Due 12/15 in the a.m.
  
• When should we have our Christmas Party?
• ITS Christmas Party - Pot Luck
• Travel for ITS - if you are traveling within the 8:00 to 5:00 window with notice from the night before you don't get meal reimbursement. If you have to go on the same day, without notice, we will pay for lunch. This is a change in MY policy......
• What items am I concerned about going through purchasing - Video Codec - Projectors - other items??????? E-mail Randy about what things I would want to review on purchasing.
• Give reaction to Randy's Purchasing MAPP - cover the type of purchases we want to review? create questions we want purchasers to answer.
• Computer lab in PSUB (3rd Floor) is probably going to become an ERP training lab.
• Budget cuts are real - I will be looking hard at all material and travel expenses
• Change web pages to match Netel - logo issues
• Find a dollar savings for closing CDA and HCE (mostly) - email to Randy. Other budget savings ideas?
• Do you want to do a "Parade of Offices" Show off offices, provide treats, give prizes, yada yada yada (optional event for raising money)
• We need a box for Food Bank donations - give money to the front office (checks payable to Idaho Food Bank) - turn in on 12/19
• Capital Facility Projects over 30K - call for requests - Any Ideas?
• Set up a meeting with ISOS to talk about Backups - need three machines backed up. When?
