- Classes versus work - You can not miss work assignments or meetings due to classes - work has to come first. I want to review all requests for fee waiver/classes each semester. I'm going to draw a hard line on one class per semester that is during business hours - and then only if the supervisor and myself can agree that work time can be rearranged around the time absent.
- Moodle server work by ISOS to start April 1st. We need to outline all the things we want/need done by ISOS on those servers. - Kory sent out what I thought was pretty good note outlining his tasks. Anything we need to add?
- We need to outline and clarify with ISOS what our back up requirements are for Moodle and Helix.
- Can we start streaming video from YouTube?
- Discuss handout regarding Google Apps and outsourcing student e-mail. I need to take back any questions we come up with regarding the impact of such a change.
- Feedback on articles in the paper? Sounds like one coming out on enrollment Be careful what you say to the media
- No decision yet on what they are going to do about replacing Wharton or naming an interim provost
- Apparently a lot of folks are calling the journal about a number of different issues
- April board meeting will discuss fee increases - ISU asking for 7% - BSU 6% - UI 7.9%
- No exempt job offers can be made until the AA form has been reviewed and approved by Buddy
- Temp employees have to have an offer - see HR forms web site (see Boise and Idaho Falls)
- Darrell Buffaloe is leaving for CSI on June 30th - taking over for College of Technology
- April 1st ISOS will start working on the new Moodle Servers - not before
- Guest Internet Access - Guest access through 7meg Qwest access - contact help desk and they can set it up in a matter of minutes - Will need MAC address, name, phone, etc........
- Has everyone watched the "When Lightning Strikes" video on the Public Safety
- Review document about 2nd maintenance window - Tuesday and Friday - Need to start communicating to Faculty
